The house

A souiri home, between ocean and countryside

Set in Ghazoua, at “km 8”, twelve minutes from Essaouira’s medina and the Essaouira-Mogador airport. An oasis of calm in the heart of the argan groves, between the ocean and the countryside. Decorated with local materials in a bespoke bohème chic style. Marhaba — welcome.

Living spaces

A vast living space brings together the dining room, open kitchen and lounge. Traditional “red-wood” ceilings, a sweeping stone wall and an open fire lend it a warm, convivial feel. A dedicated children’s room (large sofa, Smart TV) extends the space. Solar panels support a sustainable way of living, with back-up heaters for the rare cold spell.

Seven bedrooms

Seven bedrooms — five in the main building, two in the annex. Six are furnished with king-size beds, and one children’s room has bunk beds. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and storage. Four open onto the terrace and pool; two look over the back garden with a private terrace. One bedroom can be arranged as two single beds.

The outdoors

Two gardens, one infinity pool

Wrapped in eucalyptus trees that offer shade, shelter from the wind and privacy, the house opens onto two gardens. The green-zellige infinity pool, lined with six honey-coloured sun loungers, is the centrepiece.

Terraces & gathering

The main terrace holds an outdoor lounge under a pergola and a long honey-zellige banquet table seating sixteen. A pétanque court (14 × 5 m) keeps the evenings going.

Swimming

The pool can be heated in winter on request. It is neither fenced nor supervised: constant adult vigilance is essential and children’s safety remains their guardians’ responsibility. A shallow paddling area is set aside for the little ones.

Mohamed looks after your well-being: welcoming guests, running the household, tending the grounds, laying the evening fire, shopping for the menus you choose, setting the table each morning and helping you plan activities. Thoughtful attention at every moment.

Myriam

Myriam prepares breakfast: freshly squeezed orange juice, mint tea, baghrir, msemen, eggs and other treats await you every morning. On request, she cooks delicious regional specialities and bespoke menus, served in the dining room, by the pool or on your terrace.

The whole house, all to yourselves

Rates cover the entire villa, per night, breakfast included. The annex opens up a seventh and sixth bedroom for larger groups.
